Use JustGiving to bring fundraising pages, donations, and team members into ThirdSectorBee. You need your JustGiving Application ID, API Key, and Charity ID, plus permission to manage the integration.

If the service is not available yet, enable it on the Integrations overview, then open its Settings.

Connect and map activities

  1. Open Integrations → JustGiving → Settings.
  2. Enter Application ID, API Key, and Charity ID.
  3. Choose whether to Enable automatic sync (every 3 hours) and select Connect JustGiving.
  4. Open Activity mappings, select a ThirdSectorBee fundraising activity for each JustGiving event you want to import, and choose Save mappings.

Pages and donations for unmapped events are skipped. A Connected badge confirms that settings are stored; check a sync result to verify the full flow.

Sync and verify

On Settings, choose Sync now. Sync must be enabled for this button to work. The result reports pages, donations, and team members dispatched, plus pages skipped for missing mappings. Allow time for dispatched records to appear in ThirdSectorBee.

For faster notifications, copy the displayed Webhook URL and Webhook signing secret for the person configuring your JustGiving webhook delivery. Requests must be signed as described on the page; unsigned requests are discarded. The three-hour schedule still provides automatic sync while enabled.

Open Anonymous donations to review donations whose donors did not share their details. These are held against a hidden placeholder contact and do not appear as ordinary searchable contacts.

Change settings and troubleshoot

  • Missing donations: check Activity mappings first, then run Sync now and inspect the skipped-page count. Check Anonymous donations for donors who withheld details.
  • Sync now unavailable: confirm both a saved connection and enabled sync. You can change the sync switch and save without re-entering credentials.
  • Connection or sync failure: verify the charity and credentials, then retry. To rotate credentials, enter the new Application ID and API Key, retain or update Charity ID, and choose Update credentials.
  • Webhook has no effect: have the delivery configuration checked against the displayed URL and signing requirements. A copied URL alone does not configure signing.
