Organisations represent bodies such as charities, companies and foundations. Open Relationships → Organisations. The list shows name, organisation types and registered address. Enter at least two characters to search, and select a name to open its profile.

Create an organisation

  1. Choose Add organisation.
  2. Enter Name and select at least one organisation type.
  3. Optionally enter the registered address, using address search or manual entry.
  4. Add registration numbers. Choose Company Number, Membership Number, or Other; Other also needs a custom description.
  5. Optionally search for contacts to connect, then choose Create organisation.

See Organisation fields.

Maintain the profile

Use the pencil beside organisation types to change classifications. The profile also offers custom fields, tags, strategic status, connected contacts, a financial summary and an activity timeline, subject to access permissions. Use Record touchpoint to add an interaction and the Documents panel to attach files.

The current organisation profile has no general edit form for name/address/registrations and no delete button. Creating a duplicate is not a substitute for correcting an existing record.

Connect contacts

Use the connection control in Connected contacts to search for and select an existing contact and relationship type. Connections can also be managed from the contact profile. See Link records.
