Resources track items such as collection tins, payment terminals or equipment. Use dedicated restricted-fund, tribute-fund and programme records for those workflows; a resource does not provide their financial or programme behaviour.
Create a resource
- Open Relationships → Resources and choose Add resource.
- Enter a Description and a whole-number Quantity available of at least 1.
- Select at least one resource type and set whether the item is Returnable (on by default).
- Optionally connect contacts and submit the form.
See Resource fields.
Check out, send and return items
Open a resource profile and use its check-out action to select the receiving contact. Returnable resources can be checked back in. For non-returnable resources the action is presented as sending the resource; there is no return step. The connected contacts and availability information show who holds or received the item.
Maintain a resource
Use the pencil beside the types to change classification, or the Returnable switch in Details to change its return policy. The profile also supports custom fields, tags and Record touchpoint. Changes save through their individual controls.
There is no general resource edit page or delete button in the current profile. Manage ordinary connections from the contact profile; see Link records.
