For details on how data flows between the two systems, see Ticket Tailor sync behaviour.
Connect your Ticket Tailor account
- Click Integrations in the sidebar, then select Ticket Tailor.
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Paste your Ticket Tailor API key into the API key field.
- Click Connect Ticket Tailor.
ThirdSectorBee validates the key and displays a “Connected” badge when successful.
To find your API key in Ticket Tailor, go to Account settings → API keys.
Set up the webhook (recommended)
A webhook lets Ticket Tailor notify ThirdSectorBee in real time when new orders arrive, without waiting for a manual sync.
- After connecting, copy the Webhook URL shown on the Settings tab.
- In your Ticket Tailor account, go to Webhooks and add a new webhook, pasting the URL you copied.
Once configured, new orders will sync automatically as they come in.
Map events to fundraising activities
- Go to the Mappings tab.
- For each event in the list, use the dropdown to either:
- Select an existing fundraising activity to link it to, or
- Choose + Create new activity to create one automatically during the next sync.
- Click Save mappings.
Events without a mapping are skipped during sync.
Sync data
Sync a single event:
- On the Mappings tab, ensure the event has a mapping set.
- Click Sync this event on the event row.
Full sync (all events):
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Click Full sync now.
A full sync pulls all events and orders from Ticket Tailor and creates or updates the corresponding records in ThirdSectorBee.
View sync history
Go to the History tab to see a log of received webhook notifications, including the event type and whether it processed successfully.
Rotate your API key
If you need to replace your Ticket Tailor API key:
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Enter the new key in the API key field.
- Click Update API key.
The previous key is replaced immediately.
