The Reconciliation page lists settlement exceptions from connected collection systems. It is an exception queue, not a bank-statement upload tool.

Find an exception

Filter by status, reason or connection. Review the reason, settlement context, amount, settled date and connection before taking action. Use the list’s paging controls to inspect further results.

Resolve or ignore

For an open exception, choose Resolve, select Resolved or Ignored, optionally enter an explanatory note, and submit. This records your disposition of the exception; it does not by itself correct the underlying payment or mandate.

Attribute a settlement

Where Attribute is offered, choose the intended open collection from the recurring arrangement and submit. Options include amount and due date so you can distinguish collections. Older exceptions without an arrangement reference instead request a collection identifier and show an explanation. Use a verified identifier, not a guessed value.

  1. Choose Link mandate on an unmatched-mandate exception.
  2. Search for the supporter contact; organisations are not supported in this picker.
  3. Select the supporter’s recurring payment arrangement and submit.
  4. If several collections could match, review the candidate amounts/dates, select the correct collection and confirm.

If no open collection can be matched, the mandate link may have been saved while attribution remains unresolved; read the notification and investigate the arrangement before trying again. Actions depend on the exception reason and status.
