A segment is a saved, named audience filter over your contacts — for example, “all donors who gave more than £500 in the last 12 months and have opted in to email”.
Open the segments interface
From the sidebar, expand Relationships and click Segments.
Build a segment
A segment is one or more conditions combined with AND or OR logic. The condition types are listed in Segment operators.
- Click Add condition.
- Pick the condition type — Fields, Payments, or Touchpoints.
- Choose the field and operator (e.g. Amount is greater than).
- Enter the value.
- Repeat to add more conditions.
- Choose AND (must match all) or OR (must match at least one).
Run the segment
Click Run to see matching contacts. Results show 50 at a time — click Load more to page through.
Save the segment
Give it a name and click Save. Saved segments can be reloaded at any time.
